Hydrogen Ireland 2022: “Requirements for large scale green hydrogen in Ireland”

The inaugural Hydrogen Ireland conference was held in November 2022 in Dublin, Ireland with Hydrogen industry leaders such as Piero Ercoli of SNAM, Bart Biebuych of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and Jorgo Chatzimarka of Hydrogen Europe in attendance.

EIH2 is a leader in the Hydrogen Industry in Ireland and this was held true at this ground breaking event. EIH2’s Head of Strategy, Catherine Sheridan and Head of Policy, Vanessa Pulgarin were a key part of the organising committee for the event and EIH2’s Project Manager Cian Ryan was invited to present on his learnings in developing hydrogen projects in Ireland.

“I was delighted to get the opportunity to speak at a breakout session at the inaugural Hydrogen Ireland Conference on the requirements for large scale green hydrogen projects in Ireland. In the presentation I summarise the consenting, licencing and policy requirements that are required to allow a large scale green hydrogen project to be constructed and operated in Ireland.”

Cian Ryan, Project Manager at EIH2

On the request of the audience at the Hydrogen Ireland Conference, we have released Cian’s presentation to the public so that our industry can share learnings in this new and exciting industry.
